MarCraft's custom units are designed to last longer, require less maintenance, deliver high efficiency and free up more useable floor space in the building -- making them the perfect solution for any project's unique needs.

MarCraft Custom HVAC Systems can incorporate other devices or features that aren't available in commercial grade equipment, such as highly efficient energy recovery, high particulate filtration, stacked units, special footprints and non-traditional construction materials.

A variety of systems are available, including Straight Air Tunnel, Desiccant Dehumidifiers, Custom Package Penthouse, Custom Mechanical Rooms and Custom Air Rotation® Systems.

MarCraft custom units can be designed to meet any project’s unique needs, providing the following:

  1. Flexible Layouts and Capacities

  2. High quality

  3. Long Life

  4. Reliability

  5. Efficient Operation

While the initial capital cost may be higher vs. commercial grade units, custom systems can pay for themselves because they are designed to:

  • Last Longer

  • Require Less Maintenance

  • Easier to Maintain

  • Can be designed with Operating Efficiency in mind

  • Free up more usable floor space

A few examples of the systems available from MarCraft:

Straight Air Tunnel–The straight air tunnel unit makes up a large portion of the custom market.

Straight Air Tunnel units are similar to other type of air handlers; however, these units offer:

  • Higher Static Pressure Capability

  • Reduced Noise

  • Flexibility of Components and Component Locations

  • Efficient Design, Footprint Flexibility (in both size and shape)

  • Long Life

Units typically have an economizer or mixing box, filters, coils, humidifiers, fan, etc. This system can also be ordered with a full package for single point power connection and lighting circuit, coil piping and valving, full DX refrigeration system, temperature controls, and factory performance testing.

Desiccant Dehumidifiers–The desiccant dehumidifier unit is similar to the straight air tunnel unit with the exception that there is an integral desiccant dehumidification wheel with a reactivation system.

Desiccant Dehumidifier units are commonly use for:

  • High-humidity School Environments

  • Ice Rinks

  • Manufacturing and Processing Operations, e.g. Pharmaceutical Processing

  • Library/Document  Storage Facilities (where excess humidity cannot be tolerated)

Custom Package Penthouse–The package penthouse unit can be manufactured with nearly any type of component in a finely constructed box. Typically these style units contain an air handler, as well as DX condensing units (air cooled or evaporative cooled), or water chiller and pump loop system, hot water boilers and pumps, steam generation and humidification, electrical distribution system and controls. One of the most common installations is on a 4 to 5-story Class A office building.

Custom Mechanical Rooms–Custom manufactured chillers, boiler packages and pump/piping rooms are completely factory-tested and built to your exact needs.

Custom Air Rotation® Systems
–These ductless units are custom designed to include stainless steel construction, sound levels below 60 decibels, low temperature cooling to 40oF, low or high relative humidity applications between 20 and 80%, and many other industry-specific applications required in the plastics, printing, bakery, food, automobile, textile, computer, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and other product environments.
